Welcome to My Baby FAQ!

Well, this has been on my mind for a while now, so hopefully it will turn out well! MyBabyFAQ.com is intended to be part documentary and part resource for people interested in babies -- likely those folks who find themselves pregnant and need some help. Like my wife and I. Yep, we're having a baby. Holy cow.

Um, wow.

*ahem* ...anyway, you may see that I'm still in shock, but I'm getting through it as well as I can. I've done a lot of research and so has my wife. I'm a Web developer so creating a website seemed like a good idea to me -- and my wife seems to like it too. Hopefully, we'll get into a routine of posting about the stuff we're learning along the way and share it with all you folks. Soon, we'll open up some forums and create a formal FAQ ("frequently asked questions") format for people to use to ask questions of the community.

I'll explain more about what we have in mind soon enough. For now, I have a lot of work to do to get the site filled out a bit more and ready for content.

Oh, another note: A site like this (well the one I'm planning in my head) will rely on a lot of people to make it really successful. We want to share our experiences and we'd like others to do the same. With time, there will hopefully be a lot of people reading the site who have had children of their own and would like to share with those newbies like us. We hope this place will create a comfortable atmosphere for parents both new and old to communicate. We'll see how it goes, eh? :)

Take care and thank you for visiting!
